The sole of these work boots is the MAXWEAR WEDGE™ TRACTION OUTSOLE, which flexes better than other work boot outsoles. This outsole is designed to absorb impacts, keeping you stable and secure on wet and oily surfaces. It meets the ASTM F3445-21 Slip Test Standards for work boot soles.

These boots feature a removable Ultimate Shock Absorption Footbed, with a Poron Comfort Cushion Insole. Thorogood's dual-density cushioning system uses air-permeable open cells that resist moisture and absorb shock, providing the ultimate comfort for the wearer.

The Goodyear Storm Welt Construction used in these boots provides superior wear resistance and a moisture-tight seal between the upper and midsole. This makes the boots extremely dependable, long-lasting, and fully serviceable.
